Who We Are, What We Do

What is the purpose of The Healers Lounge (THL) as a path?

Our purpose is to create  safe and comforting dedicated spaces where registered attendees can escape to for a short respite during the conference, meeting or event.

 

What types of services are offered in The Healers Lounge?

Color Therapy, Cuddle/Rest space with Bio Mats, Emotional Support, Group Meditation, Head cleansing, Massages, Reiki, Spiritual Readings, Sound bowl therapy and a Tactile Sensory Station. This  list is not all inclusive.

 

Is THL open to all conference attendees?

The lounges are open to all registered attendees.

 

How can I sign up for THL sessions?

For sessions that require 1:1 service, a link will be provided for attendee use.

Are there any costs associated with accessing The Healers Lounge?

The lounges are complementary and open to all registered attendees.

Do we want attendees to bring cushions, blankets, or other tools?

We provide these items, however if attendees have any special blankets to help feel more comfortable, those items are welcome in the space.

 

How do I provide feedback or share my experience with The Healers Lounge?

Surveys are provided at the end of events and boxes are included in the spaces for immediate feedback and testimonials.

 

Can I drop in for a healing session if I didn't pre-register?

Drop in sessions are available for some services more than others, so we encourage signing up as soon as possible.

 

Does The Healers Lounge have a safety protocol?

Creating a safe and comfortable environment in the lounges is crucial to ensuring the well-being of attendees. There is a visible and approachable event staff presence in and around each lounge. Attendees have private and personal space during some of the table sessions. 

Are the practitioners of THL certified or qualified?

The practitioners are qualified, certified, and/or experienced in their respective fields. THL  screens wellness practitioners to ensure they adhere to ethical standards. 

 

Is THL accessible for individuals with disabilities?

Accessibility features accommodations for individuals with different abilities.

 

Are there quiet zones within THL?

Every lounge incorporates quiet zones for meditation or reflection.The areas are marked to encourage attendees to respect the quiet atmosphere. We encourage a non-intrusive atmosphere where attendees can focus on their well-being without external distractions. Noise and disruptions are minimized.

 

Can I bring my own healing tools or accessories?

THL provides all necessary healing items needed for a restorative experience.

Is the Healers Lounge an inclusive space? 

The Healers Lounge promotes an inclusive and diverse atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. We foster respect surrounding different backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences. 

 

Does The Healers Lounge adhere to sanitary protocols?

THL maintains high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. There are sanitation stations provided throughout the space for attendees and practitioners. 

 

What if I am triggered during a THL experience?

The Healers Lounge creates an awareness of potential triggers that may arise during healing sessions. We encourage practitioners to communicate clearly about the nature of their sessions to help attendees make informed choices. Licensed Emotional Support Practitioners are often on site to assist attendees with immediate concerns.

Does The Healers Lounge protect personal information?

Personal information is protected during all healing sessions. We are bound by professional ethics to keep information shared during sessions confidential. While we strive to maintain confidentiality, there may be legal exceptions, such as situations where there is a risk of harm to the individual or others. The Healers Lounge is legally obligated to report such concerns to appropriate authorities. We maintain clear professional boundaries to ensure that their personal lives do not interfere with their ability to uphold privacy and confidentiality.
